I talk about being a multifaceted woman. So, what does that mean?
Writing. Faith. Infertility. Music. Food. Intercultural.
When I was in second grade, a teacher asked the question all kids are asked: “What do you want to be when you grow up?” I was a bit of an ornery kid and when I responded with, “An opera singer!” I imagined a woman on stage with a viking helmet, loudly singing. Little did I know that I would end up singing opera as an adult. I’ve sung in front of thousands and get more nervous singing for a small group of people. While I love classical music, I also have a passion for writing and singing music.
I’m married to an amazing man. He grew up in Tokyo. I grew up in small-town Nebraska. We met auditioning for college choir and have been friends since. We’re now back in Nebraska, he’s working at a local church, and we’re trying to grow our family. Living life with him is full of all kinds of adventure, one of which is a new cuisine I didn’t grow up eating. I’ve learned how to make staple Korean dishes and share them with my friends and family when able!
In addition to that, I’m a real estate agent working in Lincoln, Nebraska with HOME Real Estate. I love working with people to buy and sell homes.
What I mean by living a multifaceted life is that I enjoy the opportunities I have to live life abundantly.
